STAFF and BOARD

The Hunters Point Family is managed by a dynamic two-person Executive Team:  Executive Director of Programs, Takai Tyler, and Executive Director of Development, Lena Miller.  The Executive Team has joint authority and equal power within the agency, with each Director having specific responsibilities and spheres of influence.  The Executive Director of Programs is responsible for managing and supervising all agency staff as well as implementing and overseeing all existing programs.  The Executive Director of Development develops new programs, identifies funding sources, and oversees the creation of collateral including the agency's annual report and biannual newsletter.

The Hunters Point Family’s Board of Directors oversees agency policies and their implementation.  Three quarters (75%) of the current board members grew up in the Hunters Point neighborhood.
