Jimmy is a public health and non-profit executive with over 35 years of experience in health policy advocacy at the local, state and federal levels. Jimmy is also the co-founder of the Black Coalition on AIDS and currently serves on San Francisco’s Department of Public Health Commission.

Yvonne Watson, Board Treasurer

Yvonne is a Certified Public Accountant who has worked with numerous health and wellness organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area. With her expertise, she brings a keen eye to HPF’s finances, supporting our long term viability and strength in the Hunter's Point community.

Abner Joseph Boles, III., Ph.D.

Abner is a licensed clinical psychologist with a background in health and human services. He currently serves as the project director for the African American Healing Alliance and clinical supervisor of integrated behavioral health for Bayview Hunters Point Foundation. In addition to the guidance he provides to HPF, he has provided expertise to the Family Mosaic Project, African American Health Coalition and the Third World Mental Health Coalition.

 

Shanon Lampkins, Board President

Shanon is a Director with Enterprise Community Partners. She directs Enterprise’s programmatic and technical assistance work on Homekey, a program of the California Department of Housing and Community Development program. She has worked in affordable housing asset management for several years in both Northern and Southern California, with a career focus on improving the lives of vulnerable populations, including people experiencing homelessness, transition-aged youth, and people with special needs. Shanon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Southern California and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Redlands.

Kendal Black, board Vice President

Kendal is a seasoned content strategist with over 20 years of experience in the digital space. His philosophy on content primarily focuses on the human-centered design where the content should be relevant to the reader, informative to the point of clarity, and always portray a sense of fun and delight. Kendal has worked for retailers such as Walmart, Old Navy, and Urban Outfitters garnering success by creating experiences and environments that put the customer's evolving needs first. DOMINIQUE REES, bOARD mEMBER

Dominique is the Head of Diversity Equity and Inclusion at Plug and Play. She started as an intern at the company and worked her way up to her current position, ensuring the company is on track with its social impact goals. Dominique holds a degree in Sociology and Psychology from CSUEB and is deeply committed to participating in the growth and development of young people in Bayview/Hunters Point.

 

Mark saab, bOARD mEMBER

Mark Sabb is currently a Director of Digital Content at Asian Art Museum, bringing experience from previous roles at Felt Zine, Stealth Startup, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and Crux. Mark Sabb holds a Stanford d.school in Design for Social Systems @ Stanford University. Mark has a wide range of skills from marketing, to design, to film. He credits some of his artistic growth to his time creating artwork for the Bayview/Hunters Point community and joins our board to fulfill his goal of giving back to the spaces and people who supported him.

 

marie King, BOARD MEMBER

Marie King is an Executive Consultant with long-term experience supporting leaders. Marie is an energetic, self-directed, and results-driven, seasoned professional with 20+ years of combined cross-functional leadership, operations, and program management experience with a PASSION for leadership development, employee engagement, and cultural dynamics. Marie grew up in Bayview/Hunters Point and journeyed to success in providing leadership facilitation in the resolution of highly strategic initiatives.

 

lisa roberts, BOARD MEMBER

Lisa works for Kaiser Permanente as Director of Program Management for Medical Education and has been with the organization for 28 years. Leading a team of 11 senior consultants and program managers, Lisa oversees clinical medical education (CME) for The Permanente Medical Group’s 9,500+ physicians. Lisa holds a BA in Broadcast Communications and an MA in Education from San Francisco State University. Lisa recently earned her doctorate, EdD in Organizational Change and Leadership, from the University of Southern California. The Institute of Medical Quality has acknowledged Lisa with an award for her work on cultural and linguistic inequities and health disparities. She has also served as a panelist for faculty development at the annual conference for continuing education in the health professions. A proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, Lisa’s passion is mentoring new professionals of color in the workplace and working with youth on life skills and career planning.

Jeff is an entrepreneur and business developer with 30 years of successfully leading, developing, and motivating future leaders in various fields of industry. Jeff has a diverse leadership portfolio and currently is the Senior VP of Business Development for two privately owned companies.

 
 

juSTIN lEWIS, Board mEMBER

Justin Lewis is a native of Atlanta, GA who aspires to lend his skills and service to communities as a family attorney. Beginning his professional career in education as a middle school history teacher in Title I schools, Justin seeks to use his passion for children and families to promote enhanced family structures as well as legal education to individuals and families in underprivileged communities. An alumnus of The George Washington University Law School (GW Law), Justin's public interest engagements within the legal realm highlight his dedication to service, including his work as a Guardian ad Litem legal intern for the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, Inc., his involvement as a legal intern for the U.S. Department of Justice in the United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Florida, and his advocacy for indigent clientele as a student-attorney in GW Law's Family Justice Litigation Clinic. As a law clerk with Meyer Law Group LLP based in San Francisco, CA, Justin currently assists foreign nationals navigate the complexities of the U.S. immigration system by helping individuals and families obtain visas to legally reside in the U.S.
